Philosophy and Mission

We believe that if we are in God’s will, He will supply our needs. Often families who want Christian education the most are the ones that cannot afford it. If a family feels that the full tuition is unmanageable, they can apply for tuition assistance. SFCA will work with you to try to create a payment plan that works for your family. Financial assistance can be awarded to a maximum of 50% of tuition unless extenuating circumstances apply. These special circumstances require Board approval.

SFCA has contracted with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. If you feel you need financial assistance, please pick up a financial aid application in the school office and submit it to FACTS or apply through FACTS online at www.factstuitionaid.com.  Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application either by mail or online and submit the necessary supporting documents to FACTS by mail or fax, by May 1, 2012. Those who wish to apply online and fax their documents will receive the fastest return service, usually 5-7 business days. The website walks applicants through a simple step-by-step process, and a credit card payment of $25 is required. Again, the website is www.factstuitionaid.com and the Fax toll free phone numbers is 1-866-315-9264. The school can fax your document if you wish. FACTS is a very parent friendly service; they have dedicated a toll free, Parent-Only Call Center, call them at 1-866-315-9262. Feel free to call with any questions you may have. After reviewing FACTS evaluation of your information and needs, the Board of Directors will send a letter or talk with you to help as much as possible.

In addition to providing needs-based financial assistance, SFCA participates in the Great Lakes Scrip Program, which allows families to benefit from shopping at participating restaurants and stores. A percentage of each purchase, determined by the retailer, is credited to the family’s account and is applied directly toward the student’s tuition. For further information on the Scrip program, please visit http://www.glscrip.com.
