Philosophy and Mission

 SFCA recognizes that an athletic program can be a benefit to the overall development of a child in the education process.  The athletic progam encourages student to view their athletic abilities as gifts from God.  It also provides opportunities to minister to others through sports involvement.  In addition to being a powerful tool for ministry, athletic competition provides a training ground for valuable life lessons.  The sports program at SFCA seeks to equip students with skills and attitudes that will last a lifetime; skills such as, leadership, courage, and commitment.  Currently, competitive team sport are provided for Jr./Sr. High Boys Flag Football, Jr./Sr. High Boys and Girls Basketball, Jr./Sr. High Girls Volleyball, Jr./Sr. Boys and Girls Track and Field, and Elementary (4th-6th grade) co-ed Basketball.  SFCA is an active member of the SouthWestern Christian Athletic League (www.swcacleague.webs.com) and particpates in their league schedule. For league games, please see the SWCAC Website for away game address listings.  SFCA is also a member of the National Christian School Athletic Association (www.ncsaa.org) and competes in their track and field event.
