Core Values of Seeds of Faith Christian Academy

  1. To instill in each student a knowledge of a commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. To encourage each student to have a relationship with Him through personal Bible study, prayer, service and fellowship with other believers.
  2. To integrate into each area of classroom study the Word of God.
  3. To instill in each student the importance and the power of prayer and to begin each class with prayer.
  4. To equip each student with critical Christian thinking that will enable him or her to confront the world from a biblical perspective and with God’s truths.
  5. To provide an excellent education for each student.  What students need to know and be able to do will be aligned with or exceed the Pennsylvania State Standards for Education.
  6. To maximize each student’s academic and intellectual potential.  Our expectation is that each child will achieve his or her personal highest level of ability.
  7. To impart a love for learning with the goal of instilling a passion for lifelong independent learning.
  8. To equip children with a foundation of skills, wisdom and knowledge to be built upon from year to year.
  9. To develop God’s given gifts within each student’s life.
  10. To prepare each student with the tools necessary to succeed in higher education, missionary work, and/or a specific profession.
  11. To demonstrate competency in the use of modern technology.
  12. To nurture in each student an appreciation of the arts and music.
  13. To provide athletic opportunities through physical education classes and organized sports.
  14. To provide a school atmosphere where students discover their unique gifts.  It will be a place where teachers not only educate students but also act as their mentors.  In addition, the role of the teachers will be to produce life in each student’s life through Jesus Christ.
  15. To provide students with nurturing teachers who are loving, compassionate and have a passion for teaching.
  16. To demonstrate God’s grace in dealing with disciplinary issues.  To help students understand that no sin is too large to forgive and no sin is too small to ignore. Students will make mistakes and will experience discipline that includes love, grace and forgiveness.
